Conan Gets The Last Laugh.

Conan Obrien may have to say bye-bye to The Tonight Show but he won't be leaving empty handed. According to reports The Tonight show host will be receiving a 32.5 mil payout for his trouble. In addition to the payout to Conan NBC is reportedly going to pay severance to the employees of the show so the total payout is going to run about 40 million when all is said and done. In return Conan has agreed not to host another show until September.

Letterman Extortionist To Offer Plea Deal

 The New York Post has reported that CBS producer Robert Halderman who is accused of trying to blackmail talk show host David Letterman is offering to cop a guilty plea in exchange for a one year prison sentence. Haldermans lawyer has denied any knowledge of a plea being offered at this time.Without a plea deal Halderman could face up to fifteen years in prison if found guilty.

Bruno Star Sued for a $112 million.

Sacha Baron Cohen Star of the movie Bruno is being sued in a $112 million lawsuit. Ayman Abu Aita filed the suit because of false claims in the move about him being a terrorist leader. As a result he claims his life has been ruined and he has received death threats.NBC Universal Studios and David letterman are also named in the lawsuit. Baron Cohen went on the Letterman show to promote the movie claiming producers had found a real terrorist through their contacts with the CIA. Aita claims he was tricked into meeting the Bruno star under the pretense that he was making a documentary about Palestine.
