Billy Joel And Christie Brinkley Issue Statement .

Singer Billy Joel and supermodel Christie Brinkley have issued a statement about their daughters recent suicide attempt. A recent report issued by the Newyork Post said Alexa Ray Joel attempted suicide after a fight with her mom while on vacation. Brinkley and Joel have called the report vicious and untrue. They said their daughter is working towards recovery after the dangerous actions she took on saturday.

Alexa Ray Joel Released from the Hospital.

Alexa Ray Joel the daughter of singer Billy Joel and supermodel Christie Brinkley was released from the hospital Sunday in what was an apparent suicide attempt. It was originally thought that  the 23 year olds roomate called 911. According to the New York post she called 911 herself. Sources revealed that Alexa Ray had been depressed over a failed relationship coupled with her parents marital problems with their respective spouses.

Alexa Ray Joel Hospitalized

Alexa Ray Joel was rushed to the hosptial on Saturday after what police are considering an apparent suicide attempt. She is the daughter of musician Billy Joel and Supermodel Christie Brinkley. According to sources she took a large number of sleeping pills.She is at St. Vincents Hospital under obsevation and is in stable condition.
